How do I get the vintage style with regular polaroid photos I take with my digital camera?

I do not know why you want to do that, but it is simply a matter of "dumbing down" of your photo. I want to go and shake at the channels red, green and blue. Then use Hue / Saturation to lower the color saturation. Then put a little Gaussian blur to remove the sharpness. Then, create a new off-white canvas larger than your photo, and drop your photo into it. You can also use brushes and opacities below to stains and scratches on the photo. There are also various filters you can play with to put some "Vintage" look on the photo. There is no step "to make this method to "do what you want. Just learn your photoshop program better and you can do what you want. steve
