What is the best way to implement reductions for printing die?
I imagine working with cuts. I know you make them bleed, but how do Oyu determine the form? Should I use an outline to RGB if the printer can be seen, but it will not print CMYK press?
No, we hope you use a program that has layers, like InDesign or Illustrator. The die cut line on it will own layer. And to call the "layer DIE CUT - DO NOT PRINT. NEVER use the outline in RGB, because the printer will always see, you still need to convert colors to CMYK. Instead, give a clear color that are not often in your design. I like to use pure magenta or cyan pure and a dotted line. Put this on its own layer and name the layer, it is obvious to the printer. And when you provide the files you tell them that the die is Cut From the record, but they will see that anyway if you're a good printing company.
