what is the best glue for putting ribbon on a scrapbook page?

I want to put some thin ribbon 1/4 inch to a scrapbook page. What adhesive should I use?
Should be acid free.

I use 3m quick dry adhesive. It comes in a white bottle with a purple and red label. Also, if it's kind of a satin type ribon, glue will usually show through, and make your ribon apear darker where the glue is. You may consider using one of the double sided tape dispenser / rollers. They hold quite well and the adhesive strip is so thin that you can use it on just about anything. It's usually around $4.50 for the complete dispenser (loaded with adhesive tape) and refills run around $3.00. I use Tombow. I'll never use anything else. Good Luck!!!
