I have a plant with leaves & yellow flowers with purple on the inside?

i got this plant from my girlfriend she can't remember the name of it. it very tall stem like and have compound leaves on it but recently it has been growing flowers that are pale yellow and have purple on the inside. but the flowers keep dying after the bloom so im trying to figure out what kind of plant it is so i can figure how better care for it would be.
