i am fostering a dog and he keeps humping my dog?
I just got the foster dog(chihuahua mix) today and he is an amazing dog except he keeps humping my dog (mini poodle). my dog is the most submissive dog you will ever meet not a dominate bone in his body but he still doesn't like or appreciate being humped every 3 seconds. the foster dog was just neutered. I am looking for a way for them to co-exsit while the foster is in my care because at the moment i have to keep them in seprate rooms, which sucks because i don't want my dog thinking i'm trading him in for a newer model.
please help.
whenyour dog is tired or annoyed he will let the other dog know. Believe me you might think he's submissive but anyone can get fed up. That doesn't mean they'll fight just means he'll tell him to back off. Let them back in the room with you so they can play together if it annoys you then pop the dog on the butt and say firmly NO!
