Induction Kit - Does it improve the cars performance a lot?

Very Very Very little increase in performance
Big Big Big increase in.....Noise!!!
What it does is replace the standard air filter - supposedly increasing the air intake - trouble is it will still come out the other end at the same speed - therefore not really doing much other than making your car SOUND faster.
The only benefits are it sounds throaty and burbly - although I'm a grumpy old boring git, I have to admit they do sound quite good!!
To be honest though - save your money spent on induction kits, big exhausts, go faster stripes and "motorsport" sun visors.......and buy yourself a faster car
