need advice for scrapbooking......please help.?
im making a scrapbook of me and my boyfriend and our relationship. from day one to now, its going to be something nice to look at yrs from now to see the things we've dont together etc. i was wondering if there were any ideas of things or borders etc. that i can do or add to the book that have to do with the love theme. i cant find much but i was hoping that someone would be able to help me. this is the 1st scrapbook ive made and i want it to look perfect. thanks.
i did this when my boyfriend went away to school... What I did was I tried not making it too girly, since it was a gift to a guy. The outside was just covered in fabric and I had our picture in the middle framed with a little wooden frame they sell at michaels like 50 cents, and on top I put a little painted wooden plaque that said "memories" in nice letters.
The album was pretty much a small binder (about 10in x 8in), and what i did was i folded a legal size paper(8.5x14") hamburger style and left an inch on the left side, where i put the hole punches in, a binder is useful if youre not sure how many pages youre gonna be using. So what I had was a page that fit inside the binder but that folded outwards, so you could see whats inside(where all the notes/ pictures/ quotes were in). The top that showed when it was folded in was just a simple creative heart with a number on it, since each page represented a month. It filled up quickly this way, beleve me.
I used notes we wrote(made copies of them) and pictures, souveniers like movie stubs and a laminated "paper kiss." A problem i came across is that some pictures were kinda big, but i just resized them on the computer and sent them to print. It turned out pretty good actually, hope this helped some. Good luck
