how do you format Word text boxes?

I am working on a scrapbook page, and I am trying to fit my journalling, which is about 6" x 3" in 14 "arial font, into a curve to fit the shape and style of the page. I cannot use WordArt, because it doesn't allow me to use that many characters, and if I try to insert a shape, I can insert the text into that shape, but cannot shape the text to the contours of the shape, it just stays rectangular. I've been trying for 2 hours and getting super frustrated. Any help?????

okay im not completely sure on what you are asking, but if you are trying got get the to warp around a certain shape you are able to place multiple boxes and use the word-flow option in the top task bar allowing the words to continue into the next box no matter where or how it is shaped, i hope this solves your problem
