I have a KC 550 keyboard amp,What is the shape button for? When do I use it? My Daughter is playing in a reception and I am setting it up for her. Any other settings would be appreciated. It is for 100 people on a ship if that helps.

According to page 7 of the owner's manual (see link below if you don't have the manual handy) this feature boosts upper and lower frequencies coming from the speaker and is probably best used for general clarity, especially when playing at low volume.
