Can anyone tell me who this artist is?
His paintings have been featured in calendars, and his subject matter is most often vignettes of Victorian life. It could be considered Americana, I suppose. There are two paintings by him of which I can remember details. The first is a Christmas painting, which shows two children looking into the window of a toy shop. There is an image of Santa Claus reflected in the window as though he is standing behind them. The second is of a family sitting at a picnic and watching fireworks. Thanks a lot!!
Don't know the pieces, but surely sounds like Norman Rockwell.
