May I buy a white Wedding Dress and dyed professionally in a light aqua color?
I want a wedding dress Aqua light but I'm having trouble finding one I like. I saw beautiful dresses at great fun, but they are white. I wondered if I could have a chifon / silk or other material that most dresses are made of tailor made for a generator or wedding dress and the dress to my skin color you want?
As a seamstress with extensive experience with bridal wear, I see you have two options. Before I go into the options, I want to save you the time and expense of having a dress color. Dying is risky for many reasons. Mainly because different tissues absorb dye differently depending on fabric type and density of the weave. A white dress could come from four different shades of dye Aqua. If you happen to have a beautiful dress made of a specific material, death is always a risk, because you can not get the desired color and fabric can be washed and dying it would ruin the fabric. So that leaves you with other options. As I said, I am a dressmaker. I'm sure you could find a skilled seamstress who can make a dress in any style and color you want. To find a seamstress, ask everyone you know if they know of a seamstress. Go to fabric stores and see if they recommend a seamstress. Look in the Yellow Pages. You may to go to the nearest town to find a seamstress to make your dress. Please obtain and call all references. Have a detailed contract and sketches. Another option is to buy a dress good wives. I recently was helping a bride to select his attendants dresses. I was surprised by the magnificent style. I returned later and ordered a dress in black for a cocktail of fantasy. These dresses are Available in a ton of colors. Some models had small trains and others were very married etc.. You can always add a seamstress some bling if you want to customize the dress.
